Communicating with God through prayer by taking all troubles to God and waiting for God to bring HIS solutions is the only way we are going to be able to live in peace in the midst of the problems of this world.

1 Learn to Pray Continually Over All Things
In Luke 21, Jesus speaks of the end times and of many difficulties that will come in the last days.
Jesus says:
Luke 21:34-36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

When we pray always, taking every trouble to God, we put our trust in God. Prayer to God causes us to be "worthy to escape", connecting us to God.
Often we want to tell other humans our problem, turning to humans.
People might want to help but be unable to help.
God knows all things about the situation and will give us wisdom to deal with the issues when we turn to HIM seeking HIS wisdom through prayer.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Keep this scripture before you day and night, thinking of that which is promised in this scripture, until you have this in your heart and can believe what this scripture says.
God showed Joshua the way to overcome on this present earth and these instructions given to Joshua apply to us today.
The apostle Paul says:
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

As you go forward from today, focus on learning to ask God for wisdom, praying in everything, knowing God will give you wisdom to deal with the matter when you ask HIM.
Keep James 1:5 before your eyes daily until you can really believe this scripture and do this scripture every day.

When you really believe this scripture, then begin doing this scripture by faith, knowing God will communicate HIS wisdom to you so you can do HIS will in the matter at hand.
By meditating on scripture daily until you are strong enough to believe that scripture and do that scripture, you develop a very deep root system in God.

2 Pour Out Your Heart to God in Prayer
Psalm 62:5-8
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him.
HE only is my rock and my salvation: HE is my defence; I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Trust in HIM at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us.

Are you expecting man to do something for you? Or is your expectation from God, expecting God to help you and expecting God to answer your prayer?
Do you have faith to pray directly to God, believing that HE will hear you? Or do you think you have to go to another person to pray for you, thinking God will not hear you but that God will hear that other person?
These issues must be settled in your own heart before you can pray in faith.

As we communicate directly with God through prayer, we connect ourselves to God.
Staying connected with God makes us "worthy to escape" those things coming upon the earth.

3 Trust God to Show You What to Do in All Things Pertaining to This Life
If you think you know what to do, you probably will not call on God.
But consider the following instructions:

In 2018, I had a problem with my cleaning lady. It was basically a difference in doctrine. I didn't know what to do but I do know God knows what to do and I know God helps me when I ask HIM.

So I asked God what I should do.
I heard this from God: "Focus on that which she does well."
The thing she does well is cleaning.
So each time a thought about her came to trouble me, I just made my mind focus on what she does well, cleaning, and I was no longer troubled.

When we cry out to God as a little child, we are saying to God, "Help me ... I don't know what to do."
My cat, Samantha, died.
That night, I cried out to God: "Please help me."
Immediately I heard this from God in the form of a thought:
"Go to Internet and buy a Siamese cat."
I did that the next morning and all grief over Samantha left.
I wasn't going to get another cat because I am so old I felt I would likely outlive the cat, then what would happen to the cat?
God changed my plan to fit my need.

We often have to be willing to change our direction.
When I was born again in 1975, my best friend told me I had to go to church. So I began going to the church that she and her husband attended.
The pastor was teaching against tongues, saying tongues are of the devil.
One day, I was reading Bible and saw the following scripture.
I Corinthians 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
That pastor was teaching exactly opposite to Bible.
I stopped going to that church.

4 Hold Fast to Scripture in All Things
II Timothy 3

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
13-17 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Many churches have turned against various parts of scripture, eliminating them, explaining them away or just failing to mention those scriptures.
We must not do that. We must continue in the scripture, holding fast scripture even when the church groups do otherwise.

What does God say concerning divorce and remarriage after divorce?

What does God say concerning fornication?

Today many in the medical world are calling drunkenness a disease.
What does God say about drunkenness?

Though many churches have gone into the apostasy today, we must not forsake that which is told us by God in the Holy Bible.
The scriptures say before Jesus returns there will be "a falling away", churches will fall away from scripture. KJV II Thessalonians 2
The NASB calls this falling away, the apostasy.
Churches will depart from scriptures and set up that which is opposite from scripture.
II Thessalonians 2:3-4 NASB Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
This happens in the temple of God, in the church itself.
In the last days, churches will fall away from scripture.
We must not do this.
Hold fast to scripture in all things.

5 What Happens to Those Churches and to Those Persons Who Turn Away From Scripture?

(Churches will fall away from portions of scripture, setting up doctrine opposite to scripture.)

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Damnation is ordained to those who cast aside scripture and set up another doctrine in the church. Both the leaders and their followers will be destroyed by God.
You cannot afford to do this to the Bible.

6 The Faithful in Christ ... Those Who Hold Fast to the Holy Scriptures
I Thessalonians 4:13-17 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.
For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Notice we will meet "in the air" ... not on this present earth.
Jesus says:
John 18:36 My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God after the days of the great tribulation.

This present earth will never be righteous. There is a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness. But we will never be able to make this present earth righteous. It will just get worse and worse until the wrath of God comes upon this earth and finally God will destroy this present earth.
There will be a new heaven and a new earth.
God allowed the apostle John to see this and it is shown to us in Revelation 21.
Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

We will not have these fleshly bodies in the new heaven and new earth.
The apostle Paul tells us we will be changed ... "in the twinkling of an eye."
Blink ... that is how fast we will be changed into our new spiritual bodies.
I Corinthians 15:50-52 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

There will be no fleshly marriage in heaven. We will be as the angels.
Jesus says:
Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

As we prepare for the return of Jesus we pray continually over every problem, keeping ourselves through prayer by doing that shown us by God ... thus living in peace through God, without spot and blameless.
