Dreams, Visions, and Angels, and The Holy Spirit: Product Description

There are so many wonderful powers of God used by God by the will of God for HIS people.

Since the Bible shows us many examples of God's use of dreams, visions, angels and the Holy Spirit, to accomplish HIS will, there is ample reason to believe God uses the same thing today by HIS will, as HE wills, for the church.

If we see these things used in the Bible, there is reason to believe the same things can be used today to help us in the church.

(Or if God chooses HE can invent new things to help us!  HE is God!)

But our faith in God is often increased when we consider examples of the power of God in the Bible and the testimony of God using his power in the lives of individuals in the church today!

In this book, you will see reviews of Bible examples along with examples of dreams, vision, angels and the work of the Holy Spirit, used by God to help individuals in today's church.

These examples should build our faith in God.

It is all done according to the will of God.

God speaks to us today and does with each of us today as HE wills.

*1 The way God Uses Dreams, Angels and Visions

Job 33:14-18    For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

In a dream
, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;  Then HE
(God) openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

That HE may withdraw man from his
(own) purpose, and hide pride from man.

HE keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

In the Bible, we see so many examples of God using dreams to guide and to protect HIS people.

God appeared to Joseph in a dream showing him not to be afraid of taking Mary to be his wife because the child conceived by Mary was of the Holy Ghost and was Jesus, the promised Messiah.

At the time God sent this dream to Joseph, he was considering putting Mary away, because Joseph knew the child was not of himself.

God is going to present Joseph with truth and change him from his plan.

*****

Matthew 1:18-25    Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call HIS name Jesus: for HE shall save HIS people from their sins.

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call HIS name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:  And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called HIS name Jesus.

In 1980, in the night, while I was sleeping, a very loud trumpet-like sound blew 3 words into my ear which set the direction I was to take for many years.  (I believe this was the voice of an angel carrying a message to me from God.)

The sound in my ear was very loud.

I heard these three words:   "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"

I jumped out of bed and wrote the letters KWJS on a notepad.  It seemed obvious to me these were call letters to either radio or television.

When I looked this up, I found it was radio.

I said to God, "Are YOU telling me to go on radio?  I wouldn't know how to do that.  I'm a writer, not a speaker."

Immediately the following came into my mind.  "Call the radio station manager."

(This was the Holy Spirit speaking in a very gentle voice which came to me in the form of a thought.)

That morning, as soon as the station opened, I called and asked to speak to the radio station manager at KWJS.

He came on the phone immediately.

I said, "God might be showing me to go on radio.  How would you do that?"

He replied, "Make an audition tape 29 1/2 minutes long and send it to me and if you fit our broadcasting we will offer you a contract."

I had a tape recorder at my apartment so I didn't hesitate.  That same morning, I took a kitchen timer and set it for 29 1/2 minutes and began speaking a message which I believed to be authored by God by HIS Spirit.

By the following week, I was broadcasting exhortations for the church on Mondays through Fridays on KWJS radio.

I had never heard a Christian type radio broadcast before I made this recording.  I just asked God to give me what HE wanted me to speak and I set my kitchen timer for 29 1/2 minutes, and  turned on my recorder and said ...

"This is Dr. Joan Boney speaking ..."

And I spoke that which the Holy Spirit brought to my mind.

One of the things the Holy Spirit does is to remind us of all Jesus has said to us, in my case, that which God wants me to speak.  It just comes into my mind, a scripture and a concept.

John 14:26    But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

For the next four years I continued on radio.

Within the first year, I was broadcasting on stations from "Hartford area to Seattle" (as I heard to do), starting with station KWJS ... thus "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS" as the trumpet-like voice told me on January 10, 1982.

This is the first assignment I had in the ministry.  And I was sure that assignment was from God.

The apostle Paul had the following experience which he believed was showing him what to do.

Acts 16:9-10    And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

This is an important example for us in the NT church for we see God choosing to show the apostle Paul what to do by giving him a vision in the night.

Several years ago, I attended a prayer group in a home.

As the women were praying, I heard:  "Look up."

I looked up and it was as if an outline of a body part was drawn on a white wall in the house.  I know almost nothing about the human body.  I knew this was something I'd seen before but I didn't know what it was.  I was silently talking with God, while the women prayed in the group.  I was asking God what that was I was seeing.  I heard, "Stomach."

"Oh, yeah ... stomach ... that's what that is."  (I recalled the old Pepto-Bismol commercials on TV)

I was a new Christian at that time, approximately 1977.

When the women quit praying, I managed to have the courage to ask, "Does someone have a stomach problem?"

A woman in the group jumped up, excitedly identifying herself as having such.

I'm sure the women in the group began praying over her.

After that, these "open" visions began happening in such places as our Sunday school class.

While they were singing, I would see such outlines on the wall.

(I assume these spiritual gifts were word of wisdom or word of knowledge.)

After they finished singing, our teacher would always say, "Does anyone have a word from the Lord?"

Then I would speak what I had been shown.

***

I Corinthians 12:4-8    Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.  And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

To me, God showed these as an outline on the wall.

I called these "open" visions.

A few years ago, a friend of mine was diagnosed with the terrible disease ALS.

The people in the church group where he lived were praying for David to be healed.  I was given an open vision about him.  In this vision, I saw David playing golf.  (He was paralyzed at the time I saw this.)  I saw him completely whole, on the golf course.  He was jumping up and down and waving for us to come on and join him.  "It was great," he was saying to us!

A man in his church group said to me, "Don't you think that means David will be healed?"

I replied:  "David is dying ... but he is okay spiritually."

David died shortly after this.

***

We put the house where I had been living in Texas up for-sale.  After I moved from Texas to Colorado, I had an open vision, on the wall in the room where I was sitting in Colorado.  I saw a man in a car drive past the north side of the house in Texas.  He got passed the house and then stopped his car and finally backed up and sat at the side of the house, staring intently at the house.  I felt this meant someone who had viewed the house and passed it by, would back up and seriously consider it again.

The Bible is full of examples of "supernatural" experiences which are authored by God.

I always consider this to show the way God works with HIS people.

If I find example in Bible, it seems to me like that same thing could be used today in the church, thus dreams, visions, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, supernatural gifts of faith, and such.

In Matthew 2, we see many examples of God leading through dreams.

vv. 11-12  (the wise men)  And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary His mother, and fell down, and worshipped HIM: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto HIM gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh. And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

***

vv. 13-14    And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and His mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy Him.

When he arose, he took the young child and His mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

***

vv. 19-21    But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, Saying, Arise, and take the young child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.

And he arose, and took the young child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel.

***

vv. 22-23    But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:  And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

(To me, these Bible examples show us ways God uses dreams with HIS people, which we are, to show us and warn us and instruct us in ways to go.)

In 1982, I was travelling all over the United States to the cities where I was on radio.  I would go into each city and have two or three day meetings for the radio audience.

During that time, I had a dream showing great danger ... and at the end of the dream, I heard these words, "Don't go until you see Exodus 15."

Immediately I cancelled all the remaining schedule for 1982, going nowhere to speak, just continuing radio broadcasts which I recorded at my apartment in Dallas.

A woman said to me at that time, "Joan ... You have to go out ... If you go out they will give money ... If you don't go out, you will lose money."

I replied, "God showed me not to go out.  I'm not going."

I didn't go out ... We did lose money ... But we still had enough money ... And most importantly, I did not deny the heavenly vision that was given to me by God.

At one period of time, I went through a good deal of verbal persecution from church people because of the judgment messages which God had given me and I had spoken on my radio broadcasts.

In a dream,  it was as if a shot gun loaded with buck-shot had been discharged into my chest, resulting in holes all over my chest.  A man, an angel I think, applied a healing balm to each wound.  It felt so wonderful!

The next morning I awoke completely healed from the emotional wounds.

God gives us that which we need.

Acts 5:12-16    And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.  And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.  And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)  Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

***

17-21
Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,  And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.
But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,   Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

(Angels can do mighty acts ... and deliver messages of instruction from God.)

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught.

***

21-33    But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned and told,  Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,  Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.  Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.  And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey HIM.

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

*****

34-42    Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for HIS name.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

*2 Miraculous Use Of Angels By God and Wonders of the Holy Spirit

Certainly if God chooses to do so, HE can use HIS angels in behalf of the church today.

When we read the following, don't we realize the mighty power of God that comes to the church in the use of just one of HIS angels?

Acts 12:1-4    Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.  And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

(Peter was in the same position as James had been and Peter was basically awaiting execution by Herod.)

***

5-11    Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did.

And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent HIS angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

Notice God does according to HIS own will.  God allowed James to be killed by Herod while God saved Peter from Herod by the angel of the Lord.  This was all according to the will of God.  We remember that God allowed both John the Baptist and Jesus to be killed.

In the case of Peter, the angel caused the chains to fall off Peter.  The angel gave instructions to Peter.  The angel caused the gate to the prison to open.

When God speaks by the Holy Spirit it comes from within, for the Holy Spirit dwells within.  The angel is from without.

I have also found the Holy Spirit to usually be a gentle voice and appearing as a thought.

I can't recall any example in Bible where Holy Spirit caused prison gate to open or chains to fall from hands or earthquakes, as angels are shown to do in Bible.

But whether God sends information by an angel or by The Holy Spirit, the important thing for us is to recognize it is God speaking to us.

December 6, 2018 ... I fell at my house in Texas.  As the ambulance workers were rolling me on a gurney past the front door of that house, I heard the following word which I knew to be from God by HIS Spirit ... "You'll never see this house again."

Even while in hospital, I put that house up for-sale ... because I believed that word I'd heard to be from God by His Spirit and by that I knew the season at that house had ended.

2 1/2 months later, I went directly from rehabilitation hospital in Texas to my new home in Colorado which was 450-miles away.

God uses the Holy Spirit to reveal HIS will to HIS people.

God could use HIS angel to do such, but the Holy Spirit constantly does this.

John 14:26   But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13   Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

God could give us a dream or a vision to show us what to do or what will come.

God's power toward us today is infinite and very real!

A Bible example of the angel of God bringing information to Paul in a vision.

Acts 27:9-11    Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them,  And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.

Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

(At first, when they set sail, the weather looked good for sailing, but then a fierce storm arose and the men feared for their lives.)

vv. 21-25   But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.

And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.

For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,   Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

***

In the NT church today, sometimes we have to get to ourselves and sit still and hear from God, as HE wills.

I've seen miracles come to pass from God as I just stayed before HIM apart from all others.

*****

Jesus knew HIS fate and the will of God toward HIM, and Jesus knew wicked men would hang HIM on a cross and HE would die for the sins of all, and Jesus knew God would raise Him from the dead in three days, and Jesus told this to HIS disciples at that time.

Peter began to argue otherwise with Jesus.

Matthew 16:21-23    From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto HIS disciples, how that HE must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto Thee.

But HE turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind Me, Satan: thou art an offence unto Me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

***

Even when we have the Holy Spirit in us, our flesh can rise up and speak the will of man or the thoughts of devils.

And when doing this, we suffer shame.

But when we speak by the will of God or write that which God has shown us, we will not be ashamed, and even years can pass and those words we spoke or wrote will be as good and as true as they were that day we first wrote them because those words were from God by HIS Spirit.

This is what we strive for as we live on this earth ... to report that which God speaks to us by HIS Spirit.

God shows the servant of Elisha the angels and the chariots of God.

II Kings 6:11-12   the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?

And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

So the king of Syria sent men and chariots out to catch Elisha with intent to do him harm.

vv. 14-17  Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.

And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

And he (Elisha) answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

(The servant saw as man sees, but Elisha saw by the Spirit of God, by the Holy Spirit.  That same Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, lives in each of us who belong to God today.)

v. 17   And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

There is enormous power of God available as God wills for us at all times.  It is helpful to us if we recognize this from these examples given in Bible.

***

When we deal with the people of this world, they often see through the eyes of man while we see through the eyes of God.

Luke 8:41-42   And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought Him that HE would come into his house:  For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying.

... 49-53    While HE yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

But when Jesus heard it, HE answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

And when HE came into the house, HE suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.

And all wept, and bewailed her: but HE said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.

And they laughed HIM to scorn, knowing that she was dead.

Jesus would not allow the doubters, the faithless, to go into the room of the child with Him.

54-56   And HE (Jesus) put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and HE commanded to give her meat.

And her parents were astonished: but HE charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

With men this is impossible, but not with God.  For with God, all things are possible.  (Mark 10:27)

*3 One Angel Is Often Enough ... But If Needed, God Can Send More.

Matthew 26:50-54    Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus and took HIM.

And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.
(John 18:10 shows it was Peter who drew his sword and cut off the ear of the servant.)

Then said Jesus unto him
(to Peter), Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and HE shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

(Jesus was willing to suffer these things so the scriptures could be fulfilled.  That is how much God's word meant to Jesus.)

An angel causes an earthquake and the great stone sealing Jesus' tomb was moved by that one angel.

Matthew 28:2-4   And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

Notice the countenance of that angel was "like lightning".

There is such incredible power in lightning!  This shows us a glimpse of the great power God has endowed in HIS angels.

***

The women had made spices to place on Jesus' dead body but they considered (fretting over) who would move that big stone for them where the Jews had sealed Jesus' tomb.

But when the women got to the tomb, the stone was already moved allowing them access to the tomb.  God provided for the need even before there was a need.

However, when they got inside, the body of Jesus was not there!

Where was Jesus?  What have they done with the Lord?  they questioned among themselves(Luke 24:2-4 & John 20:2)

***

Mark 16:1-7    And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint HIM.

And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: HE is risen; HE is not here: behold the place where they laid HIM.

But go your way, tell HIS disciples and Peter that HE goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see HIM, as HE said unto you.

Three angels visited Abraham with a message from God concerning Sarah.

Angels look like regular men.  Angels do not have wings.  But angels do supernatural things and they have incredible strength and they know things unseen by regular men and they deliver messages from God.

These "men" knew Abraham had a wife named Sarah.  They asked where she was.  One of these "men" had a message concerning her which he delivered from God to Abraham.

Genesis 18:1-2    And the Lord appeared unto him (unto Abraham) in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;  And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

9-15    And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

(Sarah didn't laugh aloud, but "within herself", yet these "men" knew she was laughing.)

And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?

(God disclosed the thoughts of Sarah's heart to the angels.)

Is any thing too hard for the Lord?

At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid.

And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

These angels of God lived in truth of God.  They were not going to permit Sarah to live in a lie.  They forced her to see the truth of what she did.

Later Sarah is declared as a woman living in faith, receiving strength through faith in what God said.

Hebrews 11:11    Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged HIM faithful who had promised.

We can see the angels delivered the message from God whereby Sarah received the strength needed to do the will of God in conceiving and delivering the child promised by God.

Sarah was "saved" by hearing the WORD authored by God and by believing the WORD that was delivered to her, thus she judged God faithful who had promised to do this.

This is exactly how we are "saved" today.  The Word is delivered to us, usually by the Holy Spirit but it could be delivered to us by an angel.  We believe that Word.  Therefore we "do" that Word.

James 2:17   faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

And we are "saved" continually through-out the years as we live on this earth.  We believe that Word concerning the issues at hand, and because we believe that Word is from God, we do that Word and by doing that Word we show we believe that Word.

The Word is made effectual by our doing that Word.

To hear that Word and do nothing shows us and others that we do not believe that Word.

Philemon v.6   That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Angels deliver messages from God, by the will of God, to the people chosen by God.

God says:

Exodus 23:20-23    Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for MY name
(the WORD) is in him.

But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

(God sends HIS angel before us to bring us into that place HE has given us.)

On January 10, 1980, I was asleep.  A very loud trumpet-like voice blew three words into my ear:  "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"  ... awakening me.

By this I was shown to go on radio, exhorting the church, starting with radio station KWJS.

Because of this word, that I believe to have been delivered by an angel of God, I had faith to go on radio.

Work of angelsHebrews 1:13-14    But to which of the angels said HE at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?  Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Back to the three angels who were with Abraham ...

Genesis 18:16   And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.

Sodom was their next assignment from God, two of these angels were sent for this next job.

***

Genesis 19:1    And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

The angels are going to get Lot out of Sodom and destroy Sodom.

When the men of Sodom saw the angels, whom they thought to be men, they came to the home where these men were lodging with Lot.  These evil men of Sodom came "from every quarter" of the city.  This shows us how corrupt the whole city was.  They came for the purpose of having sex with the angels whom they thought to be men.

Lot, being righteous, tried to dissuade them from their evil intentions.  But they, being evil, would not be persuaded to turn from the evil.

II Peter 2:6-10   And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:  (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
So the angel, being mighty in power from God, blinded these men at the gate.

Genesis 19:4-13    But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.  (have sex with them)

And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

(Lot's intention by closing the door was to keep the men of Sodom away, for Lot knew their evil they had determined by coming to his house.  Lot knew the wickedness of Sodom.)

And (Lot) said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.  Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judgenow will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

But the men
(angels) put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

And they
(the angels) smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

(Angels have great powers from God.)

And the men (angels) said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:

(By this we know Lot also had sons ... Lot had married daughters because the angels spoke of "sons in law"  in verse 14.  And the two daughters who lived at home were unmarried for Lot said to the wicked men that these daughters had not "known" man.  These are the two daughters who were pulled out of Sodom by the two angels.)

For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it.

The angels could not destroy Sodom until they first delivered Lot. God would not destroy the righteous.

(Here is another example for us.  God will deliver the righteous, those who are found in peace, without spot and blameless, before HE brings HIS wrath ... the great tribulation ... upon this world in the day HE comes to judge this world before HE destroys this heaven and this earth.)

Genesis 19:14-17    And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city.

But he (Lot) seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

(Lot believed the message of God, delivered by the angels and he tried to save his sons-in-law, but they mocked the message and they mocked Lot, and they ended up being destroyed by God along with Sodom.)

And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

And while he lingered, the men (the angels) laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

Lot "lingered"  ... delayed departing.  (to stay in a place longer than necessary because of a reluctance to leave.)

(The angels literally made them leave the city by putting their own hands upon Lot and the wife and two unmarried daughters, pulling them out of the place where the wicked lived.)

And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he (the angel) said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

(This is a critical message, spoken by the angel, which must be obeyed.  It is also a lesson for us today.  We cannot remain in those places with those people who do opposite to the Word of God, lest we be consumed by them and thereby destroyed by them.  We must love the Word of God more than those people who do opposite to the Word.  You will not save the wicked by remaining with the wicked, rather you will be destroyed by their wickedness if you stay.)

II Thessalonians 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

(When the scriptures, in part, are removed from the church group, the "wicked" are revealed, for the wicked will go along with the new doctrine that has been set up by the removal of the scriptures:

For exampleMatthew 5:32  Jesus says ... and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.  The churches today have removed this and permit men to marry divorced women.  But Jesus said:  "The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery."

I Corinthians 7:10-11    And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

To omit these doctrines allows antichrist to come in and the end time apostasy to take place in the church group.  That is what we are seeing in today's churches.

Paul warned us this would happen "after he departed."

Acts 20:25-30 Paul said:   And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.  For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

So as soon as Paul was gone, men brought perverse doctrines into the church, and the apostasy began and grew inside the churches as doctrine was changed away, in part, from the Holy Bible.  And the congregation was "poisoned" by the new doctrine which permitted men to marry divorced women and divorced women to remarry at will and it allowed both men and women to divorce and remarry in the church group with the approval of the congregation.

In 1979, God gave me a dream about this apostasy happening in the churches.

A man was speaking to a group of people.  I went into the room and sat down and began to listen.

A second man rushed into the room and said,  "Stop ...Can't you see? ... It's too late ... It's already begun."

(Then he disappeared and the first man resumed speaking.)

I looked out the window to see what had "already begun".

I saw a tall pole with a yellow, civil defense type warning speaker on top of the pole.  Out of the speaker was coming a gas.  It was poison and it was coming straight toward those of us who were sitting in that room.  It was coming from the speaker.

This was terrible to see because the speaker who was set there to warn us was the device being used to poison us to death.

I looked at the man sitting next to me.  He had a big smile on his face as he looked attentively, directly at the man who was speaking.

Then I saw this man was a corpse.  He was already dead.

I looked at the others in the room, and they too were dead.

And as I sat among them, I began to fall asleep and I knew the gas from the speaker was killing me too.

 ***

The removal of parts of the scripture sets the church up for this poison to come from the speakers in the church ... thus the revealing of "the wicked" (antichrist) inside the church.

II Thessalonians 2:8-12:  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

This is the fate for those who remain in church groups where doctrines are changed, in part, from the Bible.

(We can't stay with those who go opposite from the word of God in the issues of this life.  If we stay there, we, too, will be destroyed when God destroys them.

I said once to my mother,  "You can go down, but I will not go down with you."  She straightened up immediately!

***

But Lot doesn't want to go to the mountains and he pleaded for an optional course.

Genesis 19:18-16  And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:  Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:  Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.

It is like that person who knows they are teaching wrong doctrines at his church but he can't leave that church or he can't even think of coming out without finding another church, just a little one, where only a few things are opposite to Bible.  "I have to be fed else I perish," he reasons.  But he doesn't consider that the food he is being fed is corrupt, poisoned, and it will end up destroying him.  And he doesn't trust God to provide for him, he trusts man and trusts in himself to provide for himself.  And such a man doesn't love the word of God or honor the word of God more than groupings of men who are disobeying the Holy Scriptures.  He shows himself unworthy of salvation.

(Lot pleads as if the optional city, "a little one", is free from the sins of Sodom and therefore will escape the destruction of the wrath of God.)

And he
(the angel) said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.

Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither.

Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.

Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;  And HE overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

(We cannot save that which God is going to destroy. Instead we flee.)

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

(This action of Lot's wife, implied that she longed for the things of Sodom. for the things of this world ... and she went against the order given by the angel for the angel said, "Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, least thou be consumed."  Genesis 19:17)

consumed ... eaten up by them ...  II Timothy 2:16-17   But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker:

Love the Word of God above all of your reasonings.

***

And there was a severe penalty against Lot's wife for disobeying the instruction delivered by the angel of God.

Genesis 19:27-29
And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord:  And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when HE overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

30
And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

Though Lot didn't want to go to the mountain as the angel instructed, Lot ended up going to the mountain.  We sometimes think we know best, even over what God says.  But sometimes God will have mercy anyway and we usually end up in the place and situation God told us regardless.

Concerning angels ... We see how the angels performed the Word authored by God.  We see the mighty abilities given by God to His angels.  We see angels taking the hand of Lot and the wife and daughters and dragging them out of the danger.  We see angels destroying the cities by the will of God.

In the wrath of God at the end of this present world, described in Revelation 8-16, we see enormous acts brought forth by the angels who are appointed by God to bring destruction.

Revelation 8:6-13    And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound.

Do we not see the great supernatural power given by God to HIS angels who perform the will of God toward the wicked and also toward God's righteous who obey HIM?

There are both good angels and evil angels.

We, the church, will judge angels.

I Corinthians 6:3  Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

The following d
ream was giving to me, several years ago, showing where we were judging angels.

In this dream, an angel was explaining his work to us.  He was a good angel.  We were judging him and his work.

Psalm 78:49    HE (God) cast upon them the fierceness of HIS anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.

So we know there are also "evil angels" who are sent to the evil doers on this earth to perform the will of God against those who are disobedient to the Word of God.

Also we see examples of evil spirits of the Lord being sent to the disobedient.

I Samuel 16:14   But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.

I Kings 22:23    Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee.

God has HIS instruments of destruction to use toward the disobedient.

Dream about being taken into place where angels dwell!

Many years ago, I had this dream which I believe pertains to angels.

I was taken into this "country" where there was an old style bridge like you might see in Scotland.

In the dream, there was a slightly fat, jolly man, sitting at the bridge entrance ... He seemed to be waiting at the place where people might step onto the bridge from the other side.

He said to me, "Hello Joan."

I replied, "You know my name?"

He said, "Everybody here knows you!"

(Then I think he said something like, "We've been waiting for you a long time.")

Then in the dream, I was taken into a large room that was like a magnificent English library.  About 5 to 7 men were sitting around a wonderful conference type table.  On top of the table were several precious jewels.  They were examining the stones.

Then one man said, "Well then.  It is settled.  We will go help her."

(I was sure these were angels who were about to go out on their next assignment and the "precious jewels" were individuals, the church.)

Have you ever pulled your car up to the intersection and somehow just couldn't go forward and had a car in crossroad zoom past you, narrowly missing you?  Had you gone forward, as you usually do, the other car would likely have hit you.

I've wondered if maybe an angel stopped me from going forward in such cases.  It is like a powerful angel was standing at the front of my car with his hand on the front of the car keeping the car from going forward.

In the following Bible example, Balaam wanted the reward offered to him by the king.

All Balaam had to do was to curse the people of God.

However God refused to allow him to do this.

Yet he, Balaam, wanted so much to get that reward offered by the king, that he kept re-asking God to see if he could go with the king's representatives.

Perhaps God would change HIS mind and let him curse the people of Israel! (Balaam thought)

God let Balaam go with the king's men but God opened the eyes and mouth of Balaam's donkey and showed the donkey to have more sense than did Balaam.

Numbers 22:16-35   And they came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus saith Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray thee, hinder thee from coming unto me:  For I will promote thee unto very great honour, and I will do whatsoever thou sayest unto me: come therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people.

And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the Lord my God, to do less or more.

Now therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the Lord will say unto me more.

(Balaam wants that reward from the earthly king.  So he is going to appeal to God again though he has already been told not to go with the king's men.)

And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.

(Balaam wanted to go with them though God told him once not to go.  Now God is going to let Balaam do according to his own desire.)

And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.

And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the Lord stood in the way for an adversary against him.

(Why was God so angry?  God told him to go.  But that was a test.  Balaam should have remembered the first word from God and he should have stated to God that he'd rather not go.)

Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him.

And the ass saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.

But the angel of the Lord stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.

And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote her again.

And the angel of the Lord went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.

And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff.

And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.

And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? and he said, Nay.
Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.

And the angel of the Lord said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me:

And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.

And Balaam said unto the angel of the Lord, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again.

And the angel of the Lord said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

We see that God can even speak through an animal if HE chooses to do so.  God can give HIS wisdom and understand to a "dumb" animal and withhold it from the rebellious human.

But God never allowed HIS people to be cursed.  Balaam ended up leaving the king and not receiving any reward from the king as he desired.

In the end, Balaam was choosing to put himself among wicked men and he was destroyed with those wicked men by the sword of God.

Joshua 13:21-22    And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.  Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.

There is an unseen world of God out there. We know this by accounts given to us in Bible.

When I read about it in Bible, I can believe it exists for us today.

Here is an example of an angel preparing food for the prophet Elijah.

Elijah had just killed all of Jezebel's prophets of Baal and Jezebel swore she would kill Elijah.  He fled into the wilderness as a result and even asked God to let him die.

I Kings 19:1-8    And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets (of Baal) with the sword.

Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.

And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.

But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.

And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.

And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.

And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

God is more than able to supply all our needs at the time of trouble.

When we think on these examples shown us in the Bible we are helped to go forward in peace and joy knowing God always has a way to help us.  Our faith in God lunges forward as we build these truths from the Bible inside our hearts and minds!

God says to Abraham concerning Sarah:  Is any thing too hard for the Lord?  Genesis 18:14

God says to Mary:   For with God nothing shall be impossible.  Luke 1:37

Our problem can seem overwhelming as a human.  But we remember God built the entire solar system by just speaking the word.  And God keeps the sun and moon and stars in place by telling them to remain in place.  And God created this earth and trees and mountains and man.  Man needed a wife so God simply caused a deep sleep to come upon the man and God took a rib from the man and created woman to be a helper to the man, for it was not good for the man to dwell alone, so God created that which the man needed!

How can it be that God is unable to help us in our problem?

Jesus said to HIS disciples:

Matthew 28:20   lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the (your) world.

Jesus even sits right now at the right hand of God and intercedes for you and for me.

Romans 8:34  It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

And Jesus will do this as long as we are kept alive on this present earth.

And so does the Holy Spirit intercede for us.

Romans 8:26-27    Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

We keep our faith in God alive through thinking on those things told us in the Bible and by remembering those things done by God for us in our own lives.
